  Historical reenactments have been pretty popular for decades. They are basically a type of entertainment or educational activity in which majorly history enthusiasts and amateur hobbyists put on uniforms and follow a certain plan to recreate varying aspects of a historical period or event.   Over the last few years, businesses providing replications of  ww1 British uniforms   and similar have considerably gone up. These businesses typically sell replications of war uniforms for theatre productions, re-enactment groups, and collectors of wartime memorabilia. Typical re-enactors and theater productions are a real stickler for the historical accuracy of their uniforms, and hence search for items that can pass for the real thing. Hence, the providers of replications of  ww1 German uniforms   and more put a lot of effort in making these uniforms look almost the same as the originals. While collectors of wartime memorabilia do strive to find and purchase the original items instead of getting reproductions, it is not always easy to do so.
